Marathoning for Miracles benefiting Children's Miracle Network and Hendrick Children's Hospital

Hendrick Children's Hospital is the only hospital from Fort Worth to Lubbock that meets the unique needs of treating children. The new Hendrick Children's Hospital, completed in January 2012, is a warm environment featuring artwork from the Berenstain Bears books.

Each child is a different, precious masterpiece in the making. The care of a child’s health is perhaps the highest calling to which Hendrick staff can strive. That is why we devote special resources to the unique needs of children ... from tiny blood pressure cuffs to the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Children not only require a wider range of equipment and supplies, they also require specific professional skills, extra caution and more time from their healthcare givers.

No one cares more for children than Hendrick Medical Center, and no one cares for more children than Hendrick Medical Center. Last year we treated more than 26,000 children with half under the age of 12. The children served come from diverse cultures, including various economic and ethnic backgrounds and were treated without regard for ability to pay.
